La mitad de los hogares formados por jóvenes vive de alquiler. Estos hogares dedican un 30% de su gasto al pago del arrendamiento, y hasta el 35% si se incluyen lo que denominamos “sobreesfuerzo”: los gastos de energía, comunidad y agua. Como explica Desiderio Romero, hay más hogares que dedican una proporción superior de sus presupuestos a estos gastos en zonas urbanas y en las comunidades autónomas más tensionadas.
