El trabajo valora el impacto de los fondos estructurales FEDER correspondientes al periodo de programación 2000-2006 desde una doble perspectiva. En primer lugar, computa el peso de estas ayudas en la inversión total realizada por las regiones objetivo 1 cruzando las informaciones proporcionadas por la Dirección General de Asuntos Comunitarios del Ministerio de Economía y las estimaciones FBBVA-Ivie. En segundo, computa la contribución de los fondos estructurales al crecimiento del VAB en las regiones beneficiadas, utilizando para ello la metodología de la Contabilidad del crecimiento.

This article we assess the impact of the FEDER structural funds corresponding to the programming period 2000-2006 from a dual perspective. First of al¡, we calculate the influence of these funds on the overall investment made by the objective 1 regions, cross-checking the information provided by the Ministry of the Economy Directorate General of Community Affairs against the FBBVA-Ivie estimations. Secondly, we calculate the contribution of the structural funds to the growth of the GVA in the beneficiary regions, using growth accounting methodology for this purpose.
