PYME excelentes: el caso del País Vasco

Las PYME, en su actividad, deben afrontar grandes dificultades. A pesar de ello, muchas han llegado a ser excelentes, superando los desafíos del entorno y consiguiendo posicionarse de forma competitiva en los mercados. Pueden encontrarse bastantes ejemplos de lo anterior en el tejido empresarial vasco.En este trabajo seintenta establecer los factores clave de la excelencia alcanzada por ciertas PYME. Tras un análisis de diversos estudios al respecto realizados en el conjunto español, se comparan sus resultados con los de otros tres estudios orientados en la misma dirección, realizados sobre empresas que han sido objeto de "casos de empresas avanzadas en gestión" por Cluster del Conocimiento en Gestión Empresarial del País Vasco.The SMEs have to face a lot of difficulties in their business activity. In spite of this, manu of them have become excellent, overcoming the challenges of the environment and succeeding in positioning themselves competitively in the markets. A good number of examples of these areto be found in the Basque business fabric. In this article we try and establish the key factors to the excellecnce achieved by certain SMEs. After an analysis ofvarious studies on the matter, conducted in the Spanish setting as a whole, their results are compared withthose of another three studies oriented in the same direction carried out on companies that have been the subject of "advanced management companies" by the Cluster of knowledge on Basque country business management.
