El carácter estructural del déficit presupuestario

En este artículo, se evalúa el componente estructuraldel déficit presupuestario español en el período 1985-1995, comparando los resultados a los que conduce la aplicación de distintas aproximaciones. Se concluye que una importante porción del déficit es de naturaleza estructural, componente que es preciso corregir si se desea evitar los problemas que comporta la persistencia del déficit y la acumulación de deuda.

This articleassesses the structural component of the budgetary deficit in Spain during the period of 1985-1995, comparing the results obtained from the application of different approximations. It concludes that an important part of this deficit is structural in nature, component which is necessary to correct to avoid the problems which could carry the persistence ot the deficit and the debt accumulation.
