Description

In line with the widely established trend among research foundations and centres, the FUNCAS Board of Trustees has agreed to the constitution of the FUNCAS Advisory Board. Its mission is to guide the foundation’s research, issue judgement on the annual activities and publications plan proposed by the management and to seek to collaborate, where necessary, in order to serve as a permanent observatory of Spain's economic, financial and social situation within an international framework.

The board shall be comprised of eminent researchers and individuals of recognised standing in the humanities selected by the FUNCAS Board of Trustees. Said members shall be appointed freely and independantly of the role of the Board of Trustees, which shall furthermore appoint a Chairman and a Secretary to undertake the organisational duties of the Advisory Board. Furthermore, the Chief Executive Officer of FUNCAS shall serve as a member of the Advisory Board and the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CECA may attend any of the board’s meetings.
