Born in Gandía (Valencia) in 1966. BA in Economics (Universidad de Valencia), PhD in Economics (University of Wales, UK). Professor of Economics at Universitat de València. Head of Financial Studies and Executive Director of the Observatory for Financial Digitalization at FUNCAS. Independent board member at Cecabank and the Instituto Valenciano de Finanzas. Consultant to the World Bank. Former Consultant at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and the European Central Bank. He has written over 300 scientific and technical articles.
