María José Moral Rincón

She is an Associate Professor of Economics at UNED (National Distance Education University). Previously, she was an Associate Professor at University of Vigo and European University of Madrid. She is a PhD in Economics at Complutense University of Madrid. Her thesis received the extraordinary doctorate award and the research award from Eduardo Barreiros Foundation. She was a doctoral fellow at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and was enrolled at the Program for Economic Research of the Public Company Foundation. She has been visiting scholar at Harvard University and University of Pennsylvania. Her primary interests concern with industrial organization and firms and consumers behavior in oligopolistic markets, applying her research to study the Spanish economy. From 2008 to 2017 joined FUNCAS where serves as the editor of Papeles de Economía Española (Spanish Economic Papers).
