Doctor in Applied Economics from the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). Extraordinary Doctoral Thesis Award 2007 from the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences (UCM). Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Economics I at Rey Juan Carlos University. He is the author of articles in foreign research journals such as Economic Journal, Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, Scandinavian Journal of Economics, Canadian Journal of Economics, European Journal of Political Economy, Public Choice, or IZA Journal of Labour Studies.
